An "Every-Figure" Line from Jessica Simpson?

Well, well, well. Guess who wants to create a new line of trendy clothing for "every woman"? Singer Jessica Simpson. After being taken to task by the Hollywood media for gaining weight, she says she wants to put out clothes that flatter all figures, not just those fitting into junior sizes.

“I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I’ve been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you’re curvy,” she said. “If my clothing and accessories make you feel great and let you walk proud and tall — in big, big platform shoes — then I’m happy.”
How do we feel about this, Brickhouses? We certainly can sympathize with all the scrutiny that she's received over her new, curvy shape. But goodness knows she's FAR from plus-size. So, can she deliver the goods?

I am a little bit sus[ect about this line and label... her shoes while cute are not the best quality. Who is she going to use as a fit model and really, what is "real women" to her? when 60% of the world is twice the size of her... does she really know what will fit? and with what style? I saw her in those jeans with the two belts... Not a good look... not at all...
Where are the Queen Latifah's (I miss Curvation), the Jennifer Hudson's of the fashion world? Those are real women... And can we get an Amen to Beth Ditto doing a line now? AMEN!
Give me the Max Mara line that caters to the contemporary (hard as hell to find) lines that cater to me! UGH!
*Stepping off my soapbox now*
Thanks girl for the love!
